The Council for Development & Reconstruction (CDR) has received a final shortlist of seven international companies and consortia from Kuwait-based Arab Fund for Economic & Social Development (AFESD) for the estimated $200 million Conveyor 800 project on the Litani river. CDR officials say that tender documents for the contract, the first of three separate construction packages, are now expected to be issued in July (MEED 10:6:05).
