Tenders are expected by the end of June for the works that involve the construction of 17, 20-storey buildings that will have a built-up area of 440,000 square metres, and a four-level podium with a built-up area of 240,000 sqm.

The local/French joint venture of Fibrex and Thinet Emirates was recently given notice to proceed on the infrastructure and roads construction package at Building Material City. The same joint venture is already working on the first phase of the building works that involves the construction of a 100,000 sqm mall and two office towers.
