Saudi Arabia’s Abdulrahman Saad al-Rashid & Sons has signed a management agreement with Marriott International for two hotels in the Jizan province on the Red Sea coast. The two adjacent properties include Marriott’s first Residence Inn in the Middle East and the Courtyard by Marriott. The Residence Inn by Marriott Jizan will offer 83 studios and one and two-bedroom suites. The Courtyard by Marriott Jizan will have 129 rooms, including 15 junior suites and two suites, as well as dining and recreational facilities. The two hotels are scheduled to open in 2012.
