Headquarters tower for UAE bank Mashreq will be built in the Downtown Dubai area
Dubai-based bank Mashreq has invited companies to express interest in the estimated AED550m ($150m) contract to construct a new office building in Dubai.
The 32-storey tower will be built in the Downtown Dubai area and will be used by Mashreq as its headquarters building.
US-based Skidmore Owings & Merrill designed the tower. UK-based WSP is the consultant.
Construction work was completed on a new 18-storey headquarters building for Standard Chartered Bank in the Downtown Dubai area in 2012. The contractor was Canadas Brookfield Multiplex.
