Contractors expressed interest in project last year

UAE bank Mashreq has invited companies to bid by 30 April for the contract to build its estimated AED550m ($150m) new headquarters building in the Downtown Dubai area

The 151-metre-tall, 32-storey tower will comprise four basements levels, ground floor, four podium levels and 27 floors. The total built up area is 72,000 square metres. It is understood the bid documents can be collected upon payment of a AED100,000 refundable tender fee.

US-based Skidmore Owings & Merrill designed the tower. UK-based WSP is the consultant.

Mashreq invited contractors to express interest in the project in January last year.
