Biography: Masoud Ibrahim al-Hermi is the president of the Bahrain Society of Engineers.

He is a consultant at the Prime Minister’s Court, a job he has held since 2009.

Previously, he was head of the technical support section at the National Audit Court from 2005-08, and before that he was engineering programmes planner at the Planning & Coordination Office at the Ministry of Works & Housing.

After graduating with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering in 1980, he joined the Ministry of Housing’s planning directorate, which he left as coordinator of the Bahrain Zoning Project in 2001.
