MENA region equities up 8.33 per cent
Rasmala Investment Bank has said that markets in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region have outperformed international equity markets, which have been seriously impacted by Ireland’s financial crisis. On a year to date (YTD) basis, the region’s performance continues to surpass international markets, up 8.33 per cent compared to a YTD gain of 2.10 per cent for international markets. The DSM 20 (Qatar) was the strongest performing market in the MENA region.
