
Microsoft has announced that it could release its Windows 8 operating system in 2012, Cnet has reported. A presentation which was leaked in June suggested the newest version of Windows is to include an app store similar to ones offered by Apple and other mobile device makers. The presentation also said that Microsoft wanted to improve start-up times and the time it takes to resume from sleep, improve power efficiency, and work more closely with computer makers to better differentiate their respective computers.
