Middle East to be fastest growing region for hedge funds

20 May 2008
A study by Deutsche Bank has found that most hedge fund investors are expecting the Middle East and North Africa to be the top performing market for hedge fund investments in 2008.

The region is also picked out as the market most investors would like to increase their exposure to, along with all areas of Asia other than Japan.

Deutsche Bank is holding meetings on 21 May in Dubai to introduce investors from around the region to some of the biggest hedge funds in the world.

The bank surveyed more than 1,000 investors representing more than $1 trillion in hedge fund assets.
