Tav is working on airports in Oman and Qatar

Turkey’s Tav Construction Group says that 68 per cent of its turnover is generated from the Mena region.

This is mainly driven by the many airport projects that are under way, such as New Doha International airport, Muscat and Salalah airports and two airports in Tripoli and Sebha.

The airports at Tripoli and Sebha are currently on hold due to the political unrest in Libya.

New Doha International airport will be substantially complete by the end of 2011 with full operations starting in 2012, said Mustafa Sani Sener, president and chief executive officer of Tav Group during MEED’s Arabian World Construction Summit (AWCS).
