Mideast private jet industry set to soar

According to an industry expert, the regional private jet sector is expected to grow from an annual $500m (Dhs1.84bn) to $800m by 2012. The region's fleet strength is expected to triple by 2025, with low-cost airlines and super-jumbos contributing to the growth. The Middle East in general and the Gulf states in particular are expected to be a healthy market for business aircraft.
