Saudi Arabian mobile company profits
Net income for the Saudi Arabian telecoms operator reached SR1bn ($266m), up 41 per cent year on year. The rise in income is due to the higher broadband revenues and lower international connection costs.
Data is an area of rapid growth for Mobily with data revenue expected to exceed 20 per cent of total revenue in 2011.
Saudi Arabia’s mobile market is the most penetrated in the Middle East with over 52 million mobile customers and a penetration rate of around 200 per cent.
