Bids to be submitted by 18 May
Morocco’s Office National de l’Eau Potable (ONEP) has invited bids to build a water treatment plant and associated pumping stations between Rabat and Casablanca.
The facilities are part of a plan to improve water supply infrastructure between Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah dam and New Adduction Oum Azza.
The ONEP has secured a loan from the African Development Bank to finance the cost of the coastal water improvement project.
The chosen company will supply equipment for and construct the pumping station and treatment plant, which is to have a capacity of 5 cubic metres per second. The project is to be completed within 27 months.
A site visit is to be held on 31 March. Contractors have until 18 May to submit bids, which will be opened on the same day.
