Motorola uneils two new Android smartphones in Middle East

Motorola Mobility, a subsidiary of Motorola, Inc., has announced the launch of Motorola Flipout and Motorola Defy smartphones in the UAE. A square and compact smartphone, the Flipout runs on Android 2.1 and features a square pivot design that opens to reveal a five-row Qwerty keypad with a separate row for numeric keys, CrystalTalk Plus which improves a caller’s voice quality, a 3MP camera with digital zoom besides video capture, playback and streaming options along with Bluetooth capabilities for wireless calls and music. The slim and pocket-able Motorola Defy Android smartphone is equipped with a 3.7” high-resolution, scratch-resistant touch screen, and features CrystalTalk Plus, 5MP camera with a flash, digital zoom and auto focus, Web browsing, entertainment and messaging capabilities. Motorola Flipout will be available from 1 December 2010. Motorola Defy will launch in early 2011.
