Mouchel signs contract for Saudi industrial cities

UK-based firm will carry out concept and detailed designs for two industrial developments

UK-based Mouchel has been awarded a consultancy contract to carry out concept and detailed designs for the infrastructure on two industrial cities in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) has appointed Mouchel to carry out designs for the infrastructure on both the Jeddah-3 and Sudair industrial cities.

The Jeddah-3 Industrial City is located 80km south of Jeddah city and covers a total area of 20 square kilometres. Mouchel will carry out detailed designs for the full site.

Sudair Industrial City is located 130km northwest of Riyadh and will cover a total area of more than 265 sq km. When completed it will be the largest inland industrial development in the Kingdom. Mouchel will carry out the design work of a 9 sq km area of the site.
