Mubadala firm appoints WorleyParsons for Canadian project

Australian firms will work on a petrochemical project in Ontario

Nova Chemicals, wholly-owned by the Abu Dhabi investment arm Mubadala Investment Company, has awarded a contract to Australia’s WorleyParsons for its petrochemical project in Ontario, Canada.

As part of the new three-year contract, WorleyParsons will provide engineering, procurement, construction management (EPCm) and project management services for phase three of Nova Chemicals’ Corunna Cracker Expansion project.

WorleyParsons also worked on and delivered phase two of the project.

The services will be primarily led and executed from WorleyParsons’ North American offices, the firm has said in a statement.
