Nakheel approaches contractors for Palm buildings

05 June 2008
Local real estate developer Nakheel has invited selected companies to express interest in a contract to build two residential towers on the Palm Jebel.

Located on an area known as Crescent A, the towers will be 45 and 38 storeys in height and will have a total built-up area of about 210,000 square metres. Tender documents are expected in August.

The Palm Jebel Ali is the largest of the three palm-shaped archipelagos being created in Dubai. It is part of the Dubai Waterfront development that, once complete, will house up to 1.5 million people.
