Contractor sought for vibro compaction works at Club Vista Mare project

Dubai-based Nakheel has floated a tender for vibro compaction works at its Club Vista Mare project on the Palm Jumeirah.

Club Vista Mare is a beachfront residential and leisure development located at the middle of the trunk of the man-made island. The deadline for submitting the tender is 3 November.

In July, Nakheel floated a tender for construction of the project, which consists of 33 studio apartments, eight cafes and restaurants, and retail shops.

Club Vista Mare will be directly linked to the Nakheel Mall, a 418,000 square metre retail, dining and entertainment centre that will include five retail levels with more than 100,000 sq m of shop space.

Earlier this month, the developer issued a tender for the contract to build the mall. The deadline for bids is 27 November. The developer has said it expects to award the contract to build the mall before the end of 2013.
