Nakheel contract entails remaining works for residential tower
Dubai-based Nakheel has issued a tender for the completion of remaining works for a residential tower at the Downtown Jebel Ali development.
Bids for the contract to work on the 27-storey building must be submitted by 18 December.
Owned by Nakheels sister company Limitless, Downtown Jebel Ali is being developed in an area opposite the Jebel Ali Free Zone. The development will occupy an 11 kilometre stretch of land covering 200 hectares, with an approximate built-up area of 6 million square metres.
Once complete, the development will house 200,000 people in 326 buildings, of which 237 will be residential towers.
