Nakheel to resume construction work on Jumeirah Park development

Contractors to restart work on 814 properties

Dubai developer Nakheel has announced that construction work is to restart on its Jumeirah Park development, located near Jebel Ali Village.

The local/UK Pauling will recommence construction work on 525 four-bedroom villas, Nakheel said in a press release dated 12 November. The properties are expected to be completed in the second quarter or 2012.

Nakheel also said that the local Al-Huda Contracting Company will recommence work on 289 three-bedroom villas at its Jumeirah Park project. The work is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2011.

Jumeirah Park is one of a number of projects that Nakheel has agreed to recommence construction works. The developer recently announced that works are to recommence on phase 15 of the Emirati Cluster development in International City. Phase 15 of the Emirati Cluster is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2011.
