Dubai-based bank Emirates NBD has listed its $NZ100m ($78.1m) conventional bond on the Nasdaq Dubai exchange.

The bell-ringing ceremony took place on 2 November.

It is the first bond denominated in New Zealand currency to be listed on the emirate’s exchange and the bank’s fourth bond to list on Nasdaq.

Emirates NBD is the exchange’s largest issuer of bonds, with a total of $2.3bn issued.

The total nominal value of all conventional bonds listed on Nasdaq Dubai now stands at $6.8bn.

In September, the bank listed a $500m conventional bond on the exchange.
