National Aviation Services strikes Delta deal

20 August 2008
National Aviation Services (NAS) has struck a deal with Delta Airlines to provide a range of services in Kuwait for the US carrier.

NAS will provide all ground handling for aircraft, luggage and passenger services, while Delta will launch four flights a week from Kuwait International Airport to its US hub, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.

Bruce Raetcherkisenj, director of operations at NAS, says the strategic partnership will offer passengers between Kuwait and North America a new destination in the US.

NAS was formed in 2006 and is the only private ground handling company at Kuwait International Airport.
