Saudi companys plan includes investment in water and wastewater sectors
Saudi Arabias National Water Company (NWC) is planning a capital investment of $13bn over the next five years, as it seeks to upgrade the kingdoms water and wastewater infrastructure.
Speaking at MEEDs Mena Water 2014 conference in Abu Dhabi on 29 September, Mohammed Saad al-Qahtani, projects manager for NWC, revealed that the firm was planning to invest $4.5bn on water projects and $8.8bn on wastewater schemes in a five-year period.
Al-Qahtani said investment in capital projects in 2014 was planned to reach $1.4bn.
