Abu Dhabi’s Al-Bateen Executive Airport has announced the appointment of Steve Jones, managing director of London Oxford Airport, as its new general manager effective November 17. The appointment of the 36-year industry veteran is part of redevelopment plans by the Gulf’s first dedicated executive aviation airport, as it prepares to double its annual movements to more than 12,000 by 2014.
