New interchange planned for Jebel Ali Free Zone

06 January 2008
Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza) is preparing to issue tender documents for an estimated $55m road project within Jebel Ali Free Zone.

Tenders are expected in March for the project, which involves the upgrade of the roads around the existing gate 4 on Sheikh Zayed road.

The central element of the scheme is a two-level interchange that will replace the existing roundabout on the main road leading through the free zone.
