New prices submitted for ADCB HQ

19 September 2003
About nine companies submitted fresh prices on 13 September for the superstructure and demolition package on the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) headquarters project. Revised prices were invited after bids submitted in the original round of bidding came in above budget. In late July, the local Dubai Contracting Company (DCC) submitted the low bid of about AED 126 million ($34 million). The 22-month contract calls for the construction of a 20-storey tower with a three-level underground car park and related facilities on Electra Street in Abu Dhabi. The consultant is a team of Chile's A-4 with the local Architectural Planning Group. The US' Turner International is the project manager (MEED 1:8:03).
