A new Indian school has been opened in Riyadh, in response to the desperate shortage of places at Asian schools in the Saudi capital, Arab News has reported. The Banoo Iqra International School (BIIS), with two campuses for boys and girls covering an area of about 10,000 sq m, is now open for admissions, the school said. The school will serve different communities, in particular the Asian community. The school is currently admitting students from kindergarten to grade VII with the aim of adding senior classes and expand further to cater to the needs of the huge Asian community of the capital.
