The Westin Hotel in Dubai said lab tests have proven 'beyond doubt' that none of its guests contracted Legionnaire's disease in Dubai. The investigation was prompted by the death of BBC radio cricket scorer Bill Frindall, who stayed at the hotel two weeks ago on a charity cricket tour of the country. The inquiry was conducted by the Dubai Municipality in conjunciton with the Dubai Health Authority. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, said 24 water samples were taken from different locations at the hotel and all of them tested negative.
