Oman Power & Water Procurement Company (OPWP) has invited consultants to submit proposals for the contract to provide ad-hoc advisory services for geo-technical surveys.
Consultants have until 7 December to submit proposals for the contract.
Oman is planning to diversify its fuel mix as it moves ahead with plans for new generation projects to meet the growing demand for power. OPWP recently finalised the selection of the advisory team to assist with plans for the sultanate’s first coal-fired power plant, and has also appointed advisers for the country’s first major photovoltaic (PV) solar utility project.
