Oman is working on plans to set up a major integrated logistics centre at Barka, designed to serve as a hub for rail and road-based freight and support services, Oman Daily Observer has reported. The facility would double as a dry port and warehousing hub serving freight traffic plying along future rail and road networks linking the Batinah region with the Muscat governorate.
