Bidders have until 18 August to submit proposals for consultancy services to Oman’s Public Authority for Electricity & Water (PAEW).
The winning bidder will advise PAEW on contract management services for the water sector in Oman, including the participation of private firms in the sector.
Six potential bidders have acquired tender documents. They are Germany’s Fichtner; Bank Muscat; law firm Denton Wilde Sapte; Iran’s Mahab Ghodss Consulting Engineering Company; Finland’s Poyry; and the UK’s Hyder Consulting.
PAEW regulates the electricity and water sectors and is tasked with securing the provision of power and water across the sultanate.
