Oman tenders Dibba wastewater scheme

Oman’s Regional Municipalities & Water Resources Ministry has issued a tender for the construction of wastewater networks and the upgrade of the Dibba wastewater treatment plant in the Musandam governorate.

The deadline for bids is 30 March. Five local companies have already purchased the tender documents. They are Gulf Petrochemical Services & Trading, East Seas United Trading & Contracting, Target Engineering Construction Company, Towell Al-Zawraa Engineering Services Company, and Oman National Engineering & Investment Company.

The tender documents will be available until 4 March.

The Dibba plant has a capacity of 120 million gallons a day (g/d) and currently has an inflow of 96 million g/d of wastewater. None of the treated effluent from the plant is reused.
