Oman has issued a tender for the expansion of a water reservoir in the east of the country.

The contract covers the expansion of the Upper Bausher reservoir and associated water transmission infrastructure.

The client is the Public Authority for Electricity & Water.

The deadline for bids is 30 November and the tender documents will be available until 28 October.

Separately, bids are due for a contract to operate and maintain the Barka water distribution network on 5 October.

Companies that have bought the tender documents are Desert Line Projects, Bahwan Engineering Company, Global Chemicals & Maintenance System, Galfar Engineering & Contracting, Oman National Engineering & Investment and Al-Mansoor International Company. The UAE’s Target Engineering also purchased the tender.
