Omani council receives bids for second phase of Salalah bypass

The Supreme Council for Town Planning has received 12 bids for the contract to build the second phase of the Salalah bypass in Dhofar governorate in Oman.

The low bidder is the local Oman Company for Building & Contracting, with a price of OR19.5m ($51m).

The other bidders are Desert Line Projects, Shanfari & Partners, Galfar Engineering & Contracting, National Construction & Trading, Oman Gulf Company, Nasr Arabian Company, Al-Shanfri Trading Company, all local, Austria’s Strabag, South Korea’s Sambu Construction, China Railway Corporation and China First Metallurgical Construction Company.
