Omani non-oil exports climb

According to Oman's Export Credit Guarantee Agency (ECGA), the Sultanate's non-oil exports rose 17% during the first 10 months of 2011, the Oman Daily Observer has reported. The value of exports rose to OR2.45bn by October-end 2011, against OR2.097bn during the corresponding period of 2010. Total credit limits issued to exporters by the ECGA last year amounted to OR303.9m, compared with OR280m in 2010. It covered exports to 5,093 buyers compared to 4,935 buyers to 103 countries worldwide.
