Omrania to masterplan Riyadh residential development

Project will cover a total area of 16 million square metres

The local developer Kingdom Holding Company has awarded the local Omrania & Associates a contract to masterplan and design the infrastructure for its 16 million square metre Kingdom Riyadh Land real-estate development.

Omrania will be in charge of all master planning elements for the real-estate project. This will include managing the traffic impact study, environmental impact assessment and other studies required to complete the masterplan.  Omrania will also carry out the supervision of the infrastructure work on site.

“Our Saudi real-estate projects are solid anchors for Kingdom Holding’s profitability,” said Prince Alwaleed bin-Talal bin Abdulaziz, chairman, Kingdom Holding Company, said in a company statement.

Kingdom Holding has also awarded US-based Hart Howerton (HH) a contract to design the masterplan for its 3.8m square metre Kingdom Oasis Land hotel resort. HH will provide a concept landscape design for the proposed project and concept architecture studies for a hotel and separate male and female leisure and spa facilities.
