A new online doctor appointment service has been launched in the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. Doktor-i.com enables patients to book an online appointment with a doctor based on their medical condition, insurance coverage, the doctor's rating, clinic's location as well as other criteria. The service has over 700 doctors in its database, and its scheduling system utilises SMS and email messaging to both patient and doctor/clinic when an appointment is requested and confirmed.
