The QE Index stabilised Sunday (up 0.04% at 7,768), thanks to gains in the banking segment as the other industry indices lost. Real estate developer United Development Company (UDC), builder of the artifical island The Pearl Qatar ashore of Doha, lost 1.96% to close at QR25. Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ) gained 0.34% to finish at QR89.50. Credit Suisse expect Qatar's second largest lender by assets to post a 2.4% rise in Q3 net income on a quarter-on-quarter basis.
