Pakistan Islamia School reveals Dhs20m upgrade

A Dhs20m ($5.4m) upgrade plan has been unveiled by the Pakistan Islamia School aimed at improving its facilities and doubling its existing capacity, Gulf News has reported. The 14,000 sq m project includes new building blocks to house additional classrooms, a cafeteria, laboratories and a new library. Following the completion of first phase of the project, the school will be able to accommodate at total of 1,536 students. This number will go up to 2,800 after the overall completion of the upgrade in the next five years.
