Plants will form first phase of utility-scale renewable projects in the Palestinian territories
Massader, the infrastructure development arm of the Palestine Investment Fund (PIF), has invited contractors to express interest in three solar projects in the Palestinian territories.
Contractors have been invited to submit expressions of interest (EoIs) for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts to build three 5MW photovoltaic (PV) solar projects.
Massader has appointed Belgiums Tractebel Engineering as a technical adviser to conduct studies to select three optimal sites for the first phase of the Palestinian Authoritys utility-scale solar programme.
Following the technical assessment, Massader will issue a request for proposals (RFP) for the qualified EPC contractors to engineer, procure, construct, commission and hand over the PV projects.
