Panasonic to cut 15,000 jobs

Panasonic has announced that it will be cutting 15,000 jobs globally by 2010, as well as closing 27 factories. The electronics giant earlier announced Q4 losses of $707.2m. The move comes amid falling prices for electronic goods and a slump in retail sales in the sector.
