Biography: Paul Oliver was appointed to his current position at the US’ Boeing in 2009. He oversees marketing and business development activities in areas such as military aircraft, network and space systems and security solutions.
Previously, Oliver was director of international business development for Boeing’s global strike systems division. Oliver joined US aerospace manufacturer and defence contractor McDonnell Douglas in 1985, where he was lead engineer on the Tomahawk cruise missile programme.
In 1993, Oliver moved to Washington to provide technical support for Boeing’s Department of Defence customers.
He later managed sales and marketing activities for Boeing’s programmes in the Asia-Pacific region. Oliver holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois in the US.
