The US Department of Defence announced on 13 March that companies interested in providing oil facility firefighting and damage assessment services should telephone to get information about how to bid for work.
The number is 001 866 461 5171 for those calling from outside the US. Calls from within the US are toll free. Callers to the number are told to leave contact details if they wish to be added to the bidders list.
