Petrochina tenders power plant services at Halfaya operations

Companies asked to submit bids by 3 September for operation and maintenance deal

Petrochina has invited companies to bid for operation and maintenance services for power plants at the Halfaya oil field in Iraq.

Interested companies have until 3 September to submit proposals for the work.

The scope of work will be 24-hour coverage for operation and maintenance of the entire power system including:

  • The central processing facility (CPF) 1 power plant (3 x 5MW) from February 2015
  • The CPF2 power plant (3 x 10MW) from February 2015
  • The CPF3 power plant (3 x 30MW) from February 2016

The consortium operating the Halfaya field includes Petrochina’s parent group China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Malaysia-based Petronas, France’s Total and state-owned Missan Oil Company.
