UK oil field services provider Petrofac has secured $110m of additional work in Iraq.

The new orders and contract extensions cover construction management, engineering, commissioning and start-up services for international oil companies.

In April this year, the Iraqi Oil Ministry awarded Petrofac a two-year contract to operate the giant Majnoon oilfield.

Petrofac has been active in Iraq since 2010, and has worked on a range of onshore and offshore greenfield and brownfield projects, providing project management, engineering and consultancy, operations and maintenance, and training services.
