Joint venture with South Korea’s Songwon to build plant and to supply region’s polyolefins sector
South Korea-UAE joint venture Polysys Additives Technologies has approved designs for a new polymer additives project at the Kizad industrial zone in Abu Dhabi.
The production plant and warehouse project was designed by Abu Dhabi-based architectural and engineering group, WH International and is expected to take 12 months to construct.
The operation will have the capacity to produce 7,000 tonnes a year (t/y) of the One Pack Systems additive to supply the region’s polyethylene and polypropylene producers.
Polysys Additives Technologies is a joint venture of South Korea’s Songwon Additives Technologies and the Abu Dhabi’s Polysys Industries.
