Overview
Saudi Arabia is building additional power generation capacity to meet rapidly rising commercial and consumer demand.
The PP10 steam turbine power plant in Riyadh will have a have a capacity of 990MW. It is part of Saudi Electricity Company’s plans to convert the existing PP10 power plant to combined cycle power plant.
Work includes:
- 10 steam turbines
- 40 heat recovery steam generators
- Transformers
- 10 air-cooled condensers
- Switchgear
- Fuel treating and conditioning unit
- Offsites and utilities
- Water treatment plant
- Wastewater treatment and disposal system
