The Qatari cabinet is to bring the licensing and supervision of the 57 nursery schools in the country under the control of the social affairs ministry, the Peninsula has reported. According to the decision, the family development department (FDD) at the ministry will be responsible for licensing such facilities and laying down the rules and regulations regarding the curricula, age of the children eligible for enrolment, among other issues.
