The QE Index, the benchmark index of the Qatar market in Doha, closed 0.59% higher on Sunday at 7,773.74. Shares of Industries Qatar cracked the resistance level at QR110 by closing 2.94% higher at QR11.90. 42 of the 43 companies listed on Qatar Exchange have disclosed their financial statements for the nine months period ended September 30, 2010. The reported net profit for the period ended on 30 September 2010 is QR23bn, an 18.07% increase compared to the QR19.5bn during the corresponding period in 2009.
