Qatar reveals hepatitis vaccination plan

Qatar’s Supreme Council of Health (SCH) plans to start vaccinating children against hepatitis A for the first time, in an effort to stop possible outbreaks of the disease, the Peninsula has reported. The vaccine is to be administered to children in two doses, at the age of 12 months and 18 months. The vaccine can be administered to adults as well, although in a different dosage.
